The 2025 Ursa Major awards season nomination period has started.

To get Just Animals nominated would mean so much to me. It would give the series the chance it needs to at least get recognized. It isn't on the recommended anthropomorphics list, but I think it deserves to be on there. (Maybe somebody can put it on there next year?) If you think my comic is underrated and needs to be seen by more people, here is your chance.

Hello everyone, I have an exciting announcement:

For Just Animals Issue 2 Page 7 I am doing a YCH for background characters in a rally scene. The rules are:

-OCs that you own only (duh)
-First come, first serve
-Provide your OC’s name and at least 4 references
-One slot per person
-Fully grown, adult characters only
-No fetish gear (ask if you’re not sure about something related to this)
-Mostly clothed (bikinis, underwear, lingerie, ect. would not make sense in this)

There will be 5 slots for 5 characters. Each slot will cost $20 (I forgot to say this on X and bluesky.) I will update when the slots are taken only on Deviantart in the description section of the WIP for Issue 2 Page 7 that I will upload there. There might be some vetting involved on my part to make sure that you’re not a bot.

If you are interested in taking one of the slots, DM me over X/twitter or Deviantart as I am frequently on these sites. I will probably not respond to DMs over other sites.

I want to say briefly: please vote for Just Animals for the 2025 Ursa Major Awards. I've been thinking about this with the end of the year coming up and MFF starting in Chicago. IDK how long nomination lasts, but I'm sure it starts at least around January 2025 for all works published throughout 2024. 

And somebody please DM me if it becomes a nominee. I do not follow the UMAs anymore (with occasional exception of going on their website) ever since I noticed that they post stuff from NSFW works, so I won't know otherwise!

Oh, and of course if you think that I could fare better winning the coyotl awards or the Leo awards, ect. please nominate me there too, lol.

Okay, I lied: Im starting Issue 2 in earnest in December after all. Because of my financial situation changing, I just commissioned Page 1. The WIPs for the new pages will be available publicly on most of my socials (with the exception of my newer socials where I am reposting all of Issues 1 and 0, although I will post WIPs for Issue 2 once I have all of Issues 1 and 0 posted on the newer socials) and the fully completed pages will be available on my Patreon.
